About NHSA
Who we are:
The National High School Association is a non-profit membership association dedicated to improving the professional knowledge of high school educators so that all high school students may experience academic success. An inclusive organization, NHSA members are administrators, teachers, parents, policymakers, and others interested in student achievement.
NHSA hosts professional development conferences that:
- Tackle today's vital issues: standards, literacy, technology, schoolwide testing, exit exams
- Provide classroom-tested content area teaching advice
- Encourage networking between job-alike educators
- Feature sessions by education experts, policymakers, and veteran educators
NHSA produces publications:
- The High School Educator: a quarterly newsletter with national education news, content area articles, testing and technology tips, success stories, and more
- The NHSA web site, a web-based meeting place for high school educators, with resource links and professional development information
