Want to raise student achievement school-wide?

Literacy is the key to student learning and AYP-measured achievement. Yet in today's diverse education landscape, educators struggle to help all of their students comprehend and analyze texts.

Join colleagues from every content area for useful institute training presented by national experts that will help you boost your students' literacy, whether you teach core, composition, calculus, or a self-contained classroom.

These institutes will emphasize:

  • English Learners
  • Special Education
  • School-Wide Literacy Plans
  • Digital Literacy

Institute Content

Three strands (team planning, ELL, and special education) will be available in Indian Wells. Two strands (team planning and ELL) will be available in Hawaii . Focus on one strand or sample from sessions in multiple strands. Bonus sessions on digital literacy will be offered in Indian Wells and Hawaii .

Presented by Mark Wagner * Hawaii and Indian Wells
All Educators: Literacy has been redefined in the digital age, but digital literacy skills are still not being taught in many schools.
